Classic sofas or works of art?

When we think of “period” furniture, we always imagine a visual heaviness. In reality, however, upholstered furniture isn’t just a decorative accessory in itself; its creation is the result of a study of past eras, interior design experience, artistic inspiration, and a study of history. Therefore, they should be considered “works of art,” even if only because they aren’t mass-produced, but rather crafted with artisanal care born from the experience of expert carvers, who, with skill, dedication, and accuracy, manually create the refined carvings of the wooden parts of these sofas. Let’s not forget, however, the equally important importance of stitching the finely crafted fabrics, carefully selected specifically for each piece. For this reason, they can be considered truly unique pieces. The space hosting these pieces must therefore be up to par: coffee tables, paneling, mirrors, lamps, chandeliers, but also floors in fine materials and sophisticated wall finishes paired with unconventional fixtures. Each piece of furniture is designed to enhance and create harmony in the space, where the upholstered furniture must remain the true protagonist.
